Package: iptables Version: 1.4.2-6 Severity: normal
Hello, As described in the bug report 527733, the perlipq package can't be built on amd64 architecture. This is due to a missing compilation flag in the iptables package. Rebuilding iptables package with CFLAGS="-fPIC" and LDFLAGS="-fPIC" solves the problem. Can you please add these flags ? -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.27.10-grsec-xxxx-grs-ipv4-32 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages iptables depends on: ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries iptables recommends no packages. iptables suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
