Want to report back that I upgraded some of the dependency libraries, the backup bookmark problem is fixed. Here is the list of dependency libraries which I only upgraded a few of them, and the backup bookmark problem is fixed :- ii debianutils ii libc6 ii libgcc1 ii libglib2.0-0 ii libgtk2.0-0 ii libnspr4-0d ii libstdc++6 ii procps ii psmisc ii xulrunner-1.9.1 It seems that iceweasel debian packages dependencies library checking needs improvement.
