Did this appear suddenly after an upgrade? Or is this something that you never used before? What exact smbclient command line are you using to access these shares? How are the files shared on the Windows "servers" (share...and files...allowed for "Everyone", or "Authenticated users"?)? Do these servers have their anonymous account activated? Are they, themselves, part of a domain?
