Package: vim Version: 1:7.1.314-3+lenny2 Severity: normal
After upgrading to lenny, bug #482776 reappeared almost exactly again. vi somedir/ # bd works vi somefile somedir/ # somedir-buffer cannot be deleted I verified that the bug indeed was fixed in older versions, and the "workaround" is still to "set nohidden". The other workaround given in the original bug ticket doesn't work, though. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages vim depends on: ii libacl1 2.2.47-2 Access control list shared library hi libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgpm2 1.20.4-3.1 General Purpose Mouse - shared lib ii libncurses5 5.7+20081213-1 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libselinux1 2.0.65-5 SELinux shared libraries ii vim-common 1:7.1.314-3+lenny2 Vi IMproved - Common files ii vim-runtime 1:7.1.314-3+lenny2 Vi IMproved - Runtime files vim recommends no packages.
