Package: ifrename
Version: 30~pre9-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

the message still shows up during boot:

/etc/init.d/udev restart
tail /var/log/syslog
[...]
Dec 14 23:40:35 hell udevd[3319]: NAME="%k" is superfluous and breaks
kernel supplied names, please remove it from
/lib/udev/rules.d/019-ifrename.rules:13
Dec 14 23:40:35 hell kernel: [  205.594740] udev: starting version 149

Line 13 in /lib/udev/rules.d/019-ifrename.rules is
SUBSYSTEM=="net", ACTION=="add", IMPORT="/sbin/ifrename -u -i %k",
NAME:="%k"

I have purged and reinstalled ifrename without any effect.

Kind regards,
Elmar Teufl
