Hi all! While I was compiling the proposed patch for kopete, Pino Toscano told me that liboscar get's it's version IDs from kopete's site [0] (taken from the source code)
[0] http://kopete.kde.org/oscarversions.xml He also pointed out that the versions in that file are the same as the ones proposed in [1]. [1] <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=547570#35> Can anyone please test if Kopete is now working with ICQ? In case it doesn't, we must check why it doesn't gets the values from [0].
