Hi Matthias, My fetchmail does not announce a crash, but gdb revealed that fetchmail exited with code 013 ("Poll terminated by a fetch limit"). So I ran "fetchmail -vv --fetchlimit 0" and it still exited with code 013!
Other details: My system is Debian testing (fetchmail 6.2.5-13), but upgrading fetchmail to 6.2.5-15 (from unstable) did not change anything. I also deactivated my firewall to see if it may have stopped fetchmail from creating a bounce, but it did not change anything either. My machine is a standard Intel Pentium Classic (i386) portable computer. Claus ons, 27 07 2005 kl. 01:31 +0200, skrev Matthias Andree: > Strange.
