I'd rather use "gnote | tomboy", for three reasons:
1. tomboy is available only for less than half of architectures
2. gnote is _massively_ faster, and takes much less memory
3. tomboy pulls in the entire mono stack, this makes the default
install take a lot more disk space, install medium space and
mirror bandwidth
