Package: git-doc Version: 1:1.6.3.3-1~bpo50+1 Severity: minor In version 1.6.3 (and 1.5.6 as I see its source), git and git-commit (and most other git-* in /usr/lib/git-core/) are not shell commands any more. But file:///usr/share/doc/git-doc/gitcore-tutorial.html has lines as follows at the last part of "Making a change":
