Hi all,

Just a quick top-reply here - am I correct in saying that loginfo is executed
as the UID that is running hte commit anyway? I say this because I removed
the $USER variable without :ext: and did this instead:

^somedirectory (echo "*****+++++~~~~~--- OurProject --~~~~~!!!!!
+++++*****";id;date;cat; (sleep 1; cd /home/vrooms/public_html;cvs -q
-d /home/cvsroot checkout aximize) &) >> $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/updatelog 2>&1

The above served well as a workaround; we ran into some perms issues but I
brute-forced it out of the way with a cronjob to chown -R everything. For
now, it is working.

Anyway just wanted to check in - hope debconf was great. :-)

Best
