Hi all, Just a quick top-reply here - am I correct in saying that loginfo is executed as the UID that is running hte commit anyway? I say this because I removed the $USER variable without :ext: and did this instead:
^somedirectory (echo "*****+++++~~~~~--- OurProject --~~~~~!!!!! +++++*****";id;date;cat; (sleep 1; cd /home/vrooms/public_html;cvs -q -d /home/cvsroot checkout aximize) &) >> $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/updatelog 2>&1 The above served well as a workaround; we ran into some perms issues but I brute-forced it out of the way with a cronjob to chown -R everything. For now, it is working. Anyway just wanted to check in - hope debconf was great. :-) Best -- Mark On Sunday 24 July 2005 03:18 pm, Steve McIntyre wrote: > On Wed, Jul 06, 2005 at 11:26:08AM +0100, Steve McIntyre wrote: > >Oops. > > > >I'll investigate and get back to you... > > Apologies for the delay; Debconf kind-of interrupted me.
