package gnome-panel
found 551442 2.28.0-3
thanks

This bug still occurs after upgrading all of ‘capplets-data’,
‘gnome-applets’, ‘gnome-panel’ and many other related packages to the
latest in Squeeze. The panel still crashes frequently, and no
particular user activity appears to be the trigger.

Communication with upstream via email continues to be fruitless (as an
end-user, anyway); new reports from ‘bug-buddy’ get marked as
duplicates with no further discussion, and replies bounce when sent to
the sender address specified on the email messages from the BTS.

All relevant debugging packages are installed on the machine. The
reports from ‘bug-buddy’ contain full tracebacks with symbols.
Requests in the bug report, for explanation of what further
information is required, have been ignored.
