Hi Paul. I think NoteEdit still has some features all nted, Canorus and MuseScore don't offer yet (eg. abc export, MUP import). There is also problem opening the original noteedit files, which are not entirely MUP compatible, so opening it with noteedit and exporting to musicxml is currently the way to go.
IMO, we should postpone for at least another year about this. I hope there aren't too big problems with qt3 and kdelibs4 maintenence for this.
