I think we may actually be on a different page here. I haven't done anything
to the resolv.conf file at all, but it was a different .conf file that was
directly related to nss that I deleted, making it work. I seem to remember
browsing the postrm script for it, and it said something to the effect of if
its conf file is missing, cancel setup, else do some sort of perl command.
I'm beginning to think that perl may be the culprit here.
