Can you please explain me the reason for this hijack without any announce? There was no hurry in adopting this package (it was broken since a while) and moreover there is a real plan going on to completely replace a stand-alone package with one which use the busybox version instead: http://bugs.debian.org/537623 Note that I do not care to maintain this package, but I care about the above plan, which also reduces duplicate code in the Debian archive.
