In Ubuntu, we've applied the attached patch to achieve the following:

  * [FTBFS] Fix error: static declaration of 'vsscanf' follows non-static 
declaration
    + /gst-libs/ext/loader/wine/win32.c: Removed 'static' due to a gcc4 new 
behaviour (LP: #490141)

We thought you might be interested in doing the same.
