I already have a patch for this (and it was discussed in pkg-ace-devel, ace-users and probably ace-devel too) a few weeks ago. I have not committed the patch yet, though, but I will probably commit that patch (and a few more) this week. I'm trying to convince my employer allow me to maintain ACE in company time, including finishing the on-going work to package 5.7.4. I'll have an answer this week.
