The only thing that still confuses me: I get similar kerning errors when printing out from Konqueror, Chrome or Arora. I get the best result with Chrome and the worst with Firefox and Konqueror, but still these kerning errors are present in all of them. So, it must be sth. deeper, even if it is not cups-pdf (sorry again, this was my first thought). How would you recommend to proceed? Because these errors are really annoying.
