Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: important

Since 25th Nov 10 UTC, 3 push signals from ftp-master.debian.org did
happen too early with respect to the content of the archive: some files
were not readable yet.

Example with the last failing push:

>From
>ftp-master.d.o:/srv/ftp.debian.org/log/cron/dinstall_2009.11.26-13:58:25.log.bz2

| Nov 26 15:34:34 ries dinstall[3509]: Checking permissions on files in the FTP
tree ...
| 18320576 5184 -rw------- 1 dak debadmin 5296128 Nov 26 15:34
./dists/squeeze/main/binary-powerpc/Packages.bz2.new
| 18320582 6908 -rw------- 1 dak debadmin 7061504 Nov 26 15:34
./dists/squeeze/main/binary-powerpc/Packages.gz.new
[..]
| Nov 26 15:40:10 ries dinstall[3509]: Starting the mirrorpush
| Archive maintenance timestamp (mirrorpush): 15:40:10

But apt-ftparchive didn't change recently and doesn't seem background any job.

Then on rietz (syncproxy.wna.d.o) and most of ftp-master downstream mirrors:
(who don't push themselves because of the 'fail' status)

| Date: Thu, 26 Nov 2009 15:46:10 +0000
| rsync: send_files failed to open
"/dists/squeeze/main/binary-s390/Packages.bz2.new" (in debian): Permission
denied (13)
| rsync: send_files failed to open
"/dists/squeeze/main/binary-s390/Packages.gz.new" (in debian): Permission
denied (13)

It happened as well on 25th Nov 10:00 UTC and 25th Nov 2009 16:00 UTC:

| Date: Wed, 25 Nov 2009 09:58:47 +0000
| rsync: send_files failed to open "/dists/sid/Contents-amd64.gz.new" (in
debian-all): Permission denied (13)

| Date: Wed, 25 Nov 2009 16:00:10 +0000
| rsync: send_files failed to open "/dists/squeeze/main/source/Sources.bz2.new"
(in debian): Permission denied (13)
| rsync: send_files failed to open "/dists/squeeze/main/source/Sources.gz.new"
(in debian): Permission denied (15)

Regards.
