Package: sphinxsearch Version: 0.9.8.1-2 Severity: minor
Thanks for packaging sphinxsearch! Please consider using 0.9.9, which is far more powerful -- although not yet officially released. Warnings on installation: insserv: warning: current stop runlevel(s) (0 1 2 3 4 5 6) of script `zvbi' overwrites defaults (empty). insserv: warning: current stop runlevel(s) (0 1 6) of script `ud' overwrites defaults (empty). Starting sphinx: Please create an /etc/sphinxsearch/sphinx.conf configuration file. Could you create an init.d script that plays nice with insserv? It would also be useful to have a basic default /etc/sphinxsearch/sphinx.conf Cheers, Dave -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31.5 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages sphinxsearch depends on: ii libc6 2.10.1-5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.2-3 GCC support library ii libmysqlclient16 5.1.37-1 MySQL database client library ii libpq5 8.4.1-1 PostgreSQL C client library ii libstdc++6 4.4.2-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 sphinxsearch recommends no packages. sphinxsearch suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
