source is the name of a bash function, that includes some external
code. So it's a neologism that means something like "include", but
"to source sth." is also a regular English verb, but you're right that
a "to" is missing.

I'm sorry, but the debconf stuff has already been removed in CVS. It
was only used for Sarge -> Woody transitions, where the surfraw scripts
have changed their locations. We should really upload the current CVS
into sid, so that further wasted translator work is prevented. Thomas
or Christian, could you have a look at current CVS and upload it, if it's
appropriate (changes to current sid are minimal)?
