Despite: 24 19:59 < Yoe> madduck: Running nbd-client to a server on localhost is not actually fully supported, because it involves all kinds of nasty deadlock conditions whereby the dirty pages for the block device provided by the client are stored to the same queue as the dirty pages for the block device to which the server is writing
