Since they were written for Debian, I assumed they were in debian/, and
so I was wondering their disappearance wasn't mentioned in the
changelog; but apparently it wasn't so.

Is it stupid to assume that an obsolete manual is better than no manual?
In particular since, though I can't guarantee its accuracy in every
part, it does turn out to be very useful to understand the problem (I'm
referring particulary to syncml-obex-client one).
