there's 1.2.9 (and even a 1.2.7 and 1.2.8...) available on ftp://ftp.aleksey.com/pub/xmlsec/releases/; please package it. OpenOffice.org 1.9.x uses xmlsec1 and it would be nice to make it build against the system-xmlsec1 against shipping an own one. It needs xmlsec1 >= 1.2.8 for that, though..
