Package: pidgin Version: 2.6.3-1 Severity: minor --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I had a problem with my pidgin, it would not log in and constantly say "waiting for network connection" (or something similar). So i tried to delete .purple, which is the documented settings-directory. Annoyingly after a restart of pidgin the (broken) settings are there again. After some thinking and using of "find" I found out, that i had a .gaim-directory with a similar content. After deleting that too, everything was fine. I think it would be advisable to document this behaviour.
