Ah here is the culprit:
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/texlive-binaries_2009-1_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/dviselect', which is also in package
texlive-extra-utils 0:2007.dfsg.2-8
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Fixed in the repository. Strange that it didn't turn up before.
