Package: chasen Version: ChaSen version 2.4.4 (c) 1996-2007 Nara Institute of Science and Technology
I installed chasen on a new system (apt-get install chasen) When I invoked the freshly-installed chasen ("chasen textfile" or "cat textfile | chasen") it reports: /var/lib/chasen/dic/debian/cforms.cha:9-21: no basic form My interpretation is that there is a clash or misconfiguration between the chasen package and naist-jdic package which is installed at the same time. I eventually got chasen working by: (a) installing "ipadic" (an older, alternative lexicon to naist-jdic) (b) running chasen with the "-r /etc/chasenrc.dpkg-new" option as step (a) resulted in no default /etc/chasenrc file being available. I suspect something has been turned loose without sufficient testing Cheers Jim Breen -- Jim Breen Adjunct Snr Research Fellow, Clayton School of IT, Monash University Treasurer: Hawthorn Rowing Club, VCA Secondary School, Japanese Studies Centre Graduate student: Language Technology Group, University of Melbourne -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
