With the new dependency based boot sequencing, the ordering of these
scripts could be fixed by updating the LSB header in one of the
involved init.d scripts.  Perhaps it is time to fix this issue?

Either slpd should use x-start-before: slapd or slapd should use
should-start: xlpd to enforce the start order xlpd before slapd.
