Package: bcm5700-source Severity: important Using module assistant to build this module the resulting deb depends on kernel-image-2.6.12, however the 2.6.12 kernel package is now named linux-image-2.6.12.
Changing the Depends line of control.modules.in to the following will fix it, and maintain backwards compatibility with the older kernel names too: Depends: modutils | module-init-tools, kernel-image-_KVERS_ | linux-image-_KVERS_ I also notice the stock kernels now come with tg3 built again (they seemed to stop doing this for a while), so I may be one of the first people to try and build bcm5700 against 2.6.12, but I'm pretty sure anyone who tries will hit the same problem.
