Package: acpi-support
Version: 0.129-1
Severity: minor

Another message from the upgrade:

| Setting up acpi-support (0.129-1) ...
| Installing new version of config file /etc/init.d/acpi-support ...
| Installing new version of config file /etc/acpi/ibm-wireless.sh ...
| Installing new version of config file /etc/acpi/asus-touchpad.sh ...
| Installing new version of config file /etc/acpi/power.sh ...
| Starting acpi_fakekey daemon...FATAL: Module uinput not found.
| open device: No such file or directory

It is possible this is because of my kernel configuration.

$ grep UINPUT .config
# CONFIG_INPUT_UINPUT is not set

If so, it would be nice to add a note to README.Debian or NEWS.Debian
explaining this requirement and what it is used for, and maybe to give
a more helpful error message (“Perhaps your kernel was built with
uinput support disabled.”)

Thanks,
Jonathan
