With this change, libvdpau_trace.so is both version and placed into a sub-directory of /usr/lib: /usr/lib/vdpau/libvdpau_trace.so.1. The NVIDIA driver will soon be updated to package libvdpau_nvidia.so as /usr/lib/libvdpau_nvidia.so.1 too, although our .run file will maintain unversioned symlinks in /usr/lib for compatibility with older libvdpau etc. (/usr/lib/libvdpau_nvidia.so -> vdpau/libvdpau_nvidia.so.1). With Debian packaging libvdpau.so, the Debian packaging of the NVIDIA driver won't need to package these compatibility symlinks. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
