retitle 537198 wicd executes all preconnect scripts before a connection thanks
The problem also occurs with wireless connections, and is in fact the following. I've a /etc/wicd/scripts/preconnect directory with two scripts no-bind and use-bind. I've added a logger command to each of these scripts in order to see what happens: logger "wicd script preconnect/no-bind" and logger "wicd script preconnect/use-bind" respectively. When I try any connection (wired or wireless), whether it specifies a script or not, I can see in /var/log/user.log that all the preconnect scripts are run, e.g.: Nov 15 22:28:49 xvii logger: wicd script preconnect/use-bind Nov 15 22:28:49 xvii logger: wicd script preconnect/no-bind -- Vincent Lefèvre <vinc...@vinc17.net> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <http://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / Arénaire project (LIP, ENS-Lyon) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
