The name dict-wn was historically choosen.  Formerly there existed two
source packages which were later merged by me (so you see, I'm in favour
of this kind of merges ;-)).  I just did not changed the name of the
separate package.

I have no strong opinion about that.  I was not aware of goldendict
before so I'm not competent for this question.  I'd say: Choose a name
which users might expect.
