Package: python-visual
Version: 1:5.12-1
Severity: important

open ipython and give the following commands:

from visual import *
floor = box(pos=(0,0,0), lenght=4, height=0.5, width=4, color=color.blue)

(copied from the online example).

ipython will crash, with the following messages:

(<unknown>:6536): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: Cannot open \xa0v3
L.so

(<unknown>:6536): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: Cannot open \xa0v3

This is done on a almost unused sid, i386 (a virtual machine inside
VirtualBox), so I assume it's not hard to reproduce. If it is, feel free to ask
me more info.
