Package: ndiswrapper Version: 1.54-2 Severity: normal
I have a Realtek rtl8192e in my Toshiba Satellite L555D. I downloaded the WinXP driver from www.wireless-driver.com and installed it with ndiswrapper -i. I compiled ndiswrapper-source using module-assistant, installed the resulting package, and ran modprobe ndiswrapper. m...@cleo:~$ ndiswrapper -l net819xp : driver installed device (10EC:8192) present m...@cleo:~$ ip addr show wlan0 3: wlan0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 qdisc noop state DOWN qlen 1000 link/ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff m...@cleo:~$ sudo lspci -v -nn -s 0e:00 0e:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
