retitle 553296 ls-files -i is broken
severity 553296 normal
tags 553296 + upstream patch
thanks

Hi,

For what it’s worth, Peff’s patch was applied upstream as commit
500348a (ls-files: unbreak "ls-files -i", 2009-10-30). It was
merged last weekend to upstream/next, where it can cook for a few
moments before graduating to master.

That made sense when it seemed 'ls-files' as a whole was broken.
git itself only uses --ignored with --other, so this ends up only
affecting that one command. Downgrading severity and retitling
bug accordingly.

It was nice to watch the fixing process. Thanks for the report.

Regards,
Jonathan
