 Sure, gtk2-engines, libgweather, vte are built on similar hacks to have
 multiple configure/make/make install runs.

 (I think I wouldn't rewrite CDBS packages in dh, nor start mixing dh
 packages in the middle of GNOME CDBS-based packages for new packages,
 but I slightly favor dh for new packages (unless CDBS provides an
 advantage).)
