I uploaded 1:1.6.2.0~rc3-1 the other day to unstable. It includes a
*lot* of fixes since beta3 and it should be generally stable.
Is it too much to ask to try this version and report back if the bug is
still present (along with the usual backtrace)?
If that's the case I'll make sure it gets reported upstream and fixed
properly.
I have been running 1:1.6.2.0~rc3-1 for almost a week now and have not
experienced a single crash. I think it is safe to say that this bug has
been fixed.
