Yes Modify volume groups create 'main_vg' Modify logical volumes create 'main_lv' on 'main_vg' (using 1.4GB of 1.58GB) leave (with 0.18GB of unused VG space) empty partition table on LVM VG main_vg, LV main_lv create partition on main_lv #1 primary 1.5GB ext3 / (option: noatime) "Finish partitioning and write changes to disk" "Write changes to disk?" Yes ****red screen "Failed to create a file system. The ext3 file system creation in partition #1 of LVM VG main_vg, LV main_lv failed." "continue" change main_lv/part0 from 'do not use' to 'ext3 root noatime' #1 primary 1.5GB ext3 / "Finish partitioning and write changes to disk" "Write changes to disk?" Yes and everything is fine after that, so i'm guessing it is just a problem with the order of things when partitioner commits the changes and formats the partitions. minor side note, partitioning and configure lvm have different ideas about the size of a GB on their displays. (lvm "1.4GB" partition "1.5GB") -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
