Hi, Sorry for the delay, I forgot to subscribe to the bug...
With 2.26.1, /desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/tap_to_click does not exist. With 2.28.1-1, it exists and was set to false. I set it to true, and 2/3 button mouse clicking works, thanks! However, now I have another strange problem: pressing with 2 fingers is now the right button, while before it was the wheel button. The same thing when taping with 3 fingers (now it's bound to wheel, instead of right mouse button). I have rebooted the computer, still the same wrong result. Here is some result with the new g.s.d.: snoopy:~$ synclient -l|grep TapBut TapButton1 = 1 TapButton2 = 3 TapButton3 = 2 Still, this is curious, because I have in /etc/X11/xorg.conf: snoopy:~$ grep TapBut /etc/X11/xorg.conf Option "TapButton1" "1" Option "TapButton2" "2" Option "TapButton3" "3" Also, changing manually the buttons: snoopy:~$ synclient TapButton2=2 snoopy:~$ synclient TapButton3=3 does not change anything :o( In fact, it seems that the TapButton[1-3] synaptics config options are not taken into account anymore, because even if I change them in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, this does not change anything either :o( Do you know what happens? xserver-xorg-input-synaptics has not changed since June... -- Eugen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
