I have an IBM NetVista Type 6578-RAU with original keyboard and mouse, running the latest update of Squeeze with LXDE.
With the update approximately 2009-10-10 the mouse can range over only the leftmost 2/3 of the screen and is impotent; no mouse button produces any effect on the display. I've not really tested the keyboard in the GUI. Seems pointless until the mouse works. LXDE works via tightvnc from another machine.
