Package: kmymoney2

The upstream developers have released new versions since this package was last updated. I'm having a lot of trouble with my kmymoney2 setup, and I think it's partly to do with things fixed in the current 0.7.4 release.

Thanks for the heads up Asheesh. Sorry to hear your setup hasn't been working.

I can't seem to build this on my current unstable box because of kdelibs4-dev not installing (due to libfam-dev and libfam0 conflicts), so a new package would be very helpful :-).

I have been playing around with the build, it is a little tricky with the C++ transistion. I think you need kdelibs4-dev from experimental but libfam-dev & libfam from testing :-)

You're right, the C++ ABI transition is what's causing this. For that reason, I'm currently downgrading my KDE to testing (and a fair number of libraries had to go down, too), along with removing gcc-4.0 and installing build-essential from testing. Unless I say otherwise, assume that I got kmymoney2 to compile in this setup.

I uploaded 0.7.3 to http://people.debian.org/~msp a while ago.

I just checked there, but I didn't see it anything about kmymoney2.

If I have success with 0.7.4, I'll also upload to the same place shortly.

Okay, cool :-).
