Package: offlineimap Version: 4.0.10 Followup-For: Bug #199452 I can quite reliably reproduce this bug by accessing the Maildir with a local mutt instead of using the Courier imap server.
Here's an interesting part of the log: Syncing INBOX.cdtm: IMAP -> Maildir Deleting 4 messages (921, 922, 923, 924) in IMAP[INBOX.cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Adding flags S to 1 messages on IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] Adding flags S to 1 messages on LocalStatus[cdtm] Copy message 927 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Copy message 931 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Thread 'Copy message 927 from cdtm' terminated with exception: [...] TypeError: unsubscriptable object The IMAP server however doesn't know a mail "927". I currently have (among others): 901, 910, 913, 916, 925, 928-932. In a second run of offlineimap it will then: Syncing INBOX.cdtm: IMAP -> Maildir Copy message 931 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Copy message 928 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Copy message 929 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Copy message 930 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Copy message 932 IMAP[INBOX.cdtm] -> Maildir[cdtm], LocalStatus[cdtm] Syncing INBOX.debian: IMAP -> Maildir Maybe this is some weird behaviour by Courier - still, offlineimap needs to catch this error, instead of crashing or even segfaulting! -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12.1+swsusp Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages offlineimap depends on: ii python2.3 2.3.5-6 An interactive high-level object-o offlineimap recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
