Not a problem; we all are busy.

I uploaded 1:1.6.2.0~rc3-1 the other day to unstable. It includes a
*lot* of fixes since beta3 and it should be generally stable.

Is it too much to ask to try this version and report back if the bug is
still present (along with the usual backtrace)?
If that's the case I'll make sure it gets reported upstream and fixed
properly.

I was planning to wait until 1.6.2rc3 transitions to testing just to have a little bit of assurance that it won't be as bad as 1.6.2rc1 was for me but sure, I can help with the testing. Worst case scenario is that this crashing bug is not fixed there and I just go back to the 1.6.1.0~dfsg-1.0.0jones1 that I am currently running.

I'll upgrade within the next couple of days and report back.
