Thanks for reporting this issue.

I cannot reproduce it, however: Same set of commands work fine on my amd64 system (an Apple Ibook with Intel graphics card).

I do believe that you are experiencing this bug, but lower the severity due to it not _generally_ unusable, only under some circumstances.


Could you please tell which graphics card you have on your system, and perhaps double-check that OpenGL works correctly in general, e.g. using glxgears.
