Package: carmetal
Version: 2.8.9.dakbug-1
Severity: important

The carmetal source code in Zirkel.java includes a reference to
eric.JUniqueInstance, which opens a socket on a well-known port. Second and
subsequent attempts to run carmetal fail because the socket is already
allocated.

This prevents multiple users on a multi-user system from running carmetal
simultaneously.
