hi!

just for the record - i don't know for sure, but from what we know i can't help
but doubt that this is not an openbox bug. even if matchbox-keyboard might not
behave as expected by openbox, resizing of the other apps' windows is certainly
not done by matchbox-keyboard, but by the wm.
also, i don't see any indication that the gap below matchbox-keyboard is caused
by matchbox-keyboard, especially as this happens with other apps as well. the
behaviour with other wms seems like evidence for the contrary.

in case this reassignment is in fact the result of research and actual
findings, i guess it would really be a very good idea to document them here.

just distributing bugs away from a package imho doesn't help in any way. the
package is still broken, and the assignment to another package doesn't support
an actual solution.
i guess it's even preferable to just close this bug if you don't want to see it
and handle it. the package stays unusable in this regard anyway.
pushing the issue to one of the marginally involved other packages seems rude
to me. i'm not involved with matchbox-keyboard (nor xeyes), but i can imagine
people involved with it will probably just be demotivated by such behaviour.

conclusion (imho): this kind of action doesn't help, but has an actual
potential to adversely affect to bring development forward.

just my 2 cent.

kind regards,

        Chris
