Hello,
at the moment, icewm uses the libgdk_pixbuf libraries as its image
loader, and AFAICS nothing else from the libgtk2.0-0 package. To reduce
the size of the dependency chain, it would be nice to have files
matching *gdk_pixbuf*.so* in a separate package (which then libgtk2.0-0
would depend on, of course).
Quick calculations sais: that would require 432KiB instead of 6168KiB,
thus reducing the download size (for installing icewm) by a couple MiB.
