Package: alsa-tools-gui Version: 1.0.21-1 Severity: important After installing the version of "testing" the playback of sound is muted for the analog and the digital output of my MiaMidi card. The graphical mixer shows the output signal in the corresponding channel (e.g. V0 and V1). But the output is nearly muted (changes slightly below -120dB which is not detectable by the following devices). If I mix the analog input to the output (In A0 -> Out A0) the card works as expected and the output is not muted. The problem is only related to pure playback using the virtual outputs 0-7.
After downgrading the version to 1.0.16-2 (stable) I get the error message "echomixer: control.c:400: snd_ctl_elem_read: Zusicherung »ctl && control && (control->id.name[0] || control->id.numid)« nicht erfüllt.". Because of this problem I am currently not more able to use my soundcard. I would appreciate any help to overcome this situation.
