I was redirected to this bug report when asking for information about
this behaviour.

There is talk here about using a patch and/or using "connect-delay 5000"
in /etc/ppp/options.
I am wondering if this patch is included in debian testing or ustable?
rmadison show me stable, testing and unstable all use the same
2.4.4rel-10.1 version.
So what can I do to fix this issue on my machines, is the connect-delay
enough?
