Package: libswfdec-0.8-0 Severity: normal Swfdec 0.8 no longer works for a growing number of web sites that use features from more recent Flash versions. This affects viewing of YouTUBE, for instance. We get to launch the Flash content by clicking on the big PLAY icon shown by swfdec-mozilla, and then we get an empty black box for the whole duration of playback, followed by the YouTUBE animation for related videos.
As such, I'd really recommend packaging the 0.9 branch of both swfdec and the Mozilla plug-in ASAP, before swfdec completely falls into obsolescence.
